How the awards work
Awards are decided at different levels of judging. Each group below says how far its awards reach — the whole show, a single category, a class of entrants or a special category — and an entry can win at more than one level. Where awards are listed as "any one of the following" they are alternatives: an entry receives at most one of them.
Awarded across the whole show
Judged across the whole show. Every entry is in the running, no matter which category it was entered in.
-
Best in Show
One awarded across the whole show.
Awarded in every category
Offered separately in each of the 50 judged categories, so each category has its own winners.
-

Awarded in every special category
Special categories are judged separately from the main categories. These awards are offered in each of them.
